What does everyone think of 'progressive judaism'? I recently read an article in the Age about a gay jewish couple who had a commitment ceremony and was blessed by their local rabbi (Melbourne). At that moment I felt so incredibly stupid because I don't know anything about Judaism. I do know that there are about 40,000 jewish people in Australia, according to a book I read.
Oh and you all shouls read 'Multicultural Queer: Australian Narratives' its a fantastic book about the experiences of gay people from ethnic backgrounds - the only one of its kind I found in the RMIT library! Someone should really write more books/articles about it, so get writing!
