RESEARCH INTO THE EXPERIENCES OF SAME-SEX ATTRACTED (SSA) ARAB AUSTRALIANS
"How do same-sex attracted Arab Australians negotiate their sexual identities with their familial, religious and cultural lives?"
If you are a same-sex attracted Arab-Australian, you are invited to participate in a study on your experiences. Participants will take part in a 60 - 90 minute interview and will be asked questions about their personal experiences and their sexual and cultural identities. Interviews will be recorded for transcribing purposes. However, all participant details will be kept confidential and no identifying information will be published.
A smaller group of participants will be invited to participate in a follow-up interview if they would like to.
This project is being undertaken as a part of an Honours program at the University of Sydney. If you would like to express an interest in participating or would like more information, please contact Ghassan Kassisieh by emailing gkas8748@mail.usyd.edu.au or phoning 0405 757 214.
