My name is Budiadi Sudarto and I am currently conducting a research at Monash University towards a PhD degree in Sociology. My research investigate the lived experiences of gay Asian male - gay White male couples in Melbourne's GLBTIQ community. This research is conducted under the supervision of Prof. Gary Bouma and Dr. Kirsten McLean.
As part of my research, I would like to interview gay Asian male - gay White male couples. There are two interview process involved:
1. The first interview is an individual interview, where I will interview you individually. This interview will take approximately 60 minutes of your time.
2. The second interview is a couple interview, where I will interview you and your partner together. This interview will take approximately 90 minutes of your time.
Please note that you can choose to participate in both interview, OR just an individual interview, OR just a couple interview.
To enrich the data, I will also include those individuals who are not currently in a GAM/GWM relationship, but was in such relationship in the past.
